Dear Customer,

Daflor garlic extract was withdrawn from the market because in the production process the garlic is removed after fermentation, see the motivation below from the food agency

Reason for withdrawal: at the request of the FASFC (food agency): see text below:

Dear Mr. Bossuyt,

As a result of the comments of eleven colleagues from East Flanders, who clarified the production process to us after an inspection at the manufacturer, we obtained advice from the FPS Public Health and concluded that 'Daflor' eel is an enzyme in organisms Lactobacillus plantarum NBRC 3070, Lactobacillus casei NBRC 3425 and Saccharomyces cerevisiae NBRC 0203) with water as carrier. The feed materials (honey, garlic) on the message are only used as a growth medium for the micro-organisms, but are not present as such in Daflor. As a result, Daflor cannot be a supplementary animal feed. The viable microorganisms are an additive.

You must therefore organize a withdrawal from the market, i.e. all Daflor must be withdrawn from the market.

Of course we will not give up and a replacement product is under development which will be released soon.

Thanks in advance for your understandings.
